Ben Petersen of Timbersmith (Omaha, NE) has several hand-made furniture designs here at hutch. Ben is also the founder of the co-working space for artisans and builders, Bench, in Omaha's north downtown district.
"I grew up in Iowa on the same farm as my father and grandfather. Watching my father work with his hands to mend, invent, and build. I learned to work with my hands at a very young age. When I was twelve I built my first stool and for my birthday my parents gave me a small workshop of my own. I have been making ever since."
